Expanding Marketplace Channels to Walmart: Cusa Tea & Coffee

Challenge

Our work with Cusa Tea & Coffee began with streamlining a full catalog and growing a base of support on Amazon. At the same time we decided to establish a presence on Walmart.com, a marketplace not nearly on terms with Amazon, but which might eventually be.

But different eCommerce marketplaces carry their own unique sets of quirks and bottlenecks, and successful listings on Amazon do not necessarily translate to Walmart.

Solution

We took the lead in bringing Cusa’s creative onto Walmart.com: utilizing their Amazon assets, navigating the world of catalog creation and brand trademarking, syndicating their reviews, and setting the brand up with Walmart’s fulfillment services.

Results

Walmart.com remains a growth play for Cusa, but as the retail giant continues to invest heavily in its eCommerce platform, this instant tea and coffee brand is well-positioned to grow with the marketplace.
